DESCRIPTION
The Model 96 is a small profile, media compatible,
piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a 316L
sta in l ess stee l h ou sing. Th e M od el 96 is available wit h a
standard ¼ NPT fitting. The sensing package utilizes silicone oil
to transf er pressur e fr om the 316L stainless stee l dia phrag m to
the se n sing elem ent.
The Model 96 i s designed for high performance, low
pressure applications. A ceramic substr ate is attached to the
packag e that contains la ser-trimmed resistors for temperature
compensation and offset correction. An additional laser-
trimmed resistor is included which can be used to adjust an
ex te rn a l d iff e ren t ia l ampli f ie r an d p rovide sp a n
inte rchangeability to within ±1%.
Sensors with O-ring fitt ings, and high pressure sensors ar e

Notes
