oroperationcoulddamagethecapacitororthecircuit.
TheseESDratedcapacitorsprovidetheabilitytodesign
withinagivenESDcriteriaperthehumanbodymodel
(HBM)AECQ200–002criteria.TheKEMETautomotive
gradecapacitorsalsomeettheotherdemanding
AutomotiveElectronicsCouncil'sAEC–Q200qualication
requirements.
TheX7Rdielectricfeaturesa125°Cmaximumoperating
temperature and is considered “temperature stable.”

X7RdielectricasaClassIImaterial.Componentsofthis
classicationarexed,ceramicdielectriccapacitors,suited
for bypass and decoupling applications and for frequency
discriminatingcircuits,whereQandstabilityofcapacitance
characteristicsarenotcritical.TheX7Rdielectricexhibits
apredictablechangeincapacitancewithrespecttotime
andvoltage,andboastsaminimalchangeincapacitance
