Quadwire active optical cables are Class 1 laser eye safety compliant per IEC 60825-1.
Fiber cable type is s LSZH/riser-rated, flat ribbon construction. Other cable types can be
supported upon request.

The Quadwire mechanical specifications are based on QSFP transceiver module
specifications, substituting the MPO connectors with a cable connecting both ends.
