Description
Corning Lasertron QLM9S48275 series fiber Bragg grating stabilized (“BGS”) pump
lasers are available in production volumes with fiber-coupled optical kink-free powers of
up to 190 mW with center emission wavelengths of 975 nm. These BGS pump lasers are
critical components in amplifiers for use in dense wavelength division multiplexing
(“DWDM”) fiber-optic transmission systems. Reliability of Corning Lasertron lasers has
been demonstrated by more than 60,000 field devices operating cumulatively for over
600 million hours.
Ordering Information
Base model QLM9S48275pp, where pp = the pump kink-free power (in 10 mW increments)
divided by ten (e.g. pp = 08 for 80 mW, pp= 16 for 160mW and pp=17 for 165 mW).
For example, to order a 975 nm, 165 mW kink-free power pump laser, the complete model
number would be QLM9S4827517.
