TYPICAL APPLICATION
DESCRIPTION
The LTC1606 is a 250Ksps ADC that draws only75mW from a single +5V
Supply, while the LTC1605is a 100Ksps ADC that draws only 55mW from a
single+5V supply. DC1255 can use either part. The followingtext refers to
the LTC1606 but it also appliesto the LTC1605 with appropriate sampling
frequencyconsiderations.Demonstration circuit 1255 provides the user
ameans of evaluating the performance of theLTC1605/LTC1606 and is
intended to demonstraterecommended grounding, part placement, routingand
bypassing.

APPLICATIONS
SIMULATE
To simulate selected Linear Technology products, please download
LTSpice / SwitcherCAD III. This powerful schematic capture and simulation
tool includes macro models for 80% of Linear Technology's switching
regulators, over 200 op amp models, as well as resistors, transistors and
MOSFET models.
