Overview
The MC56F825x/MC56F824x is a member of
the 56800E core-based family of digital signal
controllers (DSCs). It combines, on a single
chip, the processing power of a DSP and the
functionality of a microcontroller with fast and
powerful peripherals to create a cost-effective
solution. Because of its low cost, configuration
flexibility and compact program code, the
MC56F825x/MC56F824x is well-suited for
many consumer and industrial applications
especially advanced power conversion and
motor control.

FreeMASTER Run-Time Debugging Tool
FreeMASTER software (formerly known as
PC Master) represents a sophisticated tool
with intuitive navigation that can be used in
any application development. This tool allows
control of an application remotely from a user-
friendly graphical environment running on a
PC. It also provides the ability to view real-
time application variables in both textual and
graphical form.
