Select from a variety of
products to match your
specific bundling, insulating
and sealing requirements.
SPIRAP plastic wrap is
pre-wound in continuous
lengths; it can accommo-
date 1/16-inch to 4-inch
[1.58 to 101.60] diameter
bundles. After being
applied, it self-contracts to
form a tight, unifor m protec-
tive jacket for wire, cable,
tubing or hoses. It is made
of different materials to
meet a range of operating
temperature requirements.
A small hand tool is avail-
able to make application
easier and more uniform.
AMP-TY cable ties provide
a convenient way to bundle
and harness cable quickly
and economically. Self-
locking ties can be applied
by hand or with an econo-
my pistol-grip tool. Interior
serrations help grip and
hold wire bundles. These
ties are resistant to common
solvents, oils and greases.
Two-way, four-way, and
swivel mounts provide for
easy attachment of ties to
surfaces — resulting in
improved wire/cable
routing.
Black fusion tape, which is
stretched during applica-
tion, self-adheres and
shrinks to form a tough,
homogeneous wrap.
Silicone fusion tape (avail-
able in colors with a color
stripe guide for easier
application) are suitable for
wrapping a wide range of
sizes, shapes and materi-
als. Application requires
no heat or open flame —
promoting safety and
convenience. Both of these
durable tapes resist abra-
sion, impact, moisture and
many chemicals.
Master electrician's tape
is a flame retardant, PVC
electrical tape backed
with non-softening rubber
adhesive. It is commonly
used to insulate electrical
terminations.
Sealing and dielectric
compound is available in
roll or pad form. It is used
to insulate and seal out
moisture — especially on
irregular connections or
surfaces. Dielectric sealant,
packaged in a small tube
dispenser, is used to help
weatherproof connectors
and inhibit corrosion.
In addition, Tyco Electronics
offers other well-known
brands of tubing and
fittings to bundle, insulate,
and seal wire and cable
harnesses. Request
