Important Instructions
Before using, unscrew contact button and remove the sleeve from
center point or plunger, which is placed on all new or repaired
indicators for protection in shipping.
Care should be taken in using the indicator, to keep oil of every kind
from the center point, as oil gums and retards the movement. If the
movement is slow and sluggish, the indicator should be cleaned.
No. 196R Adapter (sleeve threaded both ends) included with this
indicator enables any contact point having an AGD 4-48 male thread
to be used.
Do not attempt to repair your indicator. We will clean and repair
it at factory cost of time and material. All repaired indicators
are adjusted with as much care as we give to new ones. Many
indicators are ruined by attempts at repairing, when cleaning only
would be necessary.
