The STw4810/11 is a power-management chip for digital
processors or application processors. Ideal for portable
applications, it supplies the processor, its memories and
peripherals.
In addition, the STw4810/11 includes an USB-OTG interface
compliant with USB 2.0, and level shifters that support the
main memory-card standards.
With its very small BGA package, the device is the ideal
companion chip for portable applications, giving enhanced
multimedia enjoyment and extended talk time.

The STw4810/11 is the perfect partner for your application
processor engine such as Nomadik™ and other processors on
the market. It provides all the power supplies required for
application processors and their peripherals such as memories.
The state machine allows perfect synchronization with
processors and with its MMC and USB interfaces, so the
STw4810/11 optimizes your APE based multimedia application
by reducing the bill of material and the PCB area.

As safety concerns prompt tighter legislation worldwide, the
need for in-car, hands-free phone applications in the car is
increasing. The STw4810/11 supports CEA-936-A specification
car kit standards and defines a feature-rich wired interface
that allows phones to connect to car kits which act as speaker
phones and enable hands-free operation.
