DESCRIPTION
The Model 154N is a media compatible, compensated,
piezoresistive si licon press ur e sensor packaged in a 316 sta inless
steel housing. The sensing package utilizes silicone oil to
transfer pressure from the 316 stainless steel dia phragm to the
sensing el ement.
The Model 154N is desi gned for low pr essure appli cat ions .
A cera mic substrate is attach ed to the package tha t contai ns
laser -trimmed resistors for temperature compensation and offset
corr ection. An additional laser-trimmed res istor is included
which can be used to adjust sensitivity variations by setting the
gain of an external differential amplifier to within ±1%
interchangeability.
Alternatives include cap-ring Models 84 or 86, ¼ NPT
Model 96, and Model 85. Hig h pr essure sensors ar e also
available.

PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS
All parameters measured at 1.5mA drive and at 25°C a fter 10 second warm up, unless otherwise specified. Unless specificall y indicated, only those parameters
indicated as te sted are verified on ea ch part. Par ameters are specified for the compensated version only.
Notes
1. For amplified output circuits, 3.012V ± 1% interchangeability with gain
set resistor. See Application Note TN-003.
2. Measured at vacuum for absolute (A), ambient for gage (G).
3. Best fit straight line.
4. Over Temperature range: -20°C to +85°C Span with respect to +25°C.
5. 15 psi range sensors have a temperature error of ±0.75% (Max) of
Zero from -20°C to 85°C.
6. Guarantees output/input ratiometricity.
7. Load resistance to reduce measurement errors due to output loading.
8. Between case and sensing element.
9. Maximum temperature range for product with standard cable and
connector is –20°C to +105°C.
10. Weight depends upon configuration (cable, connector).
11. Standard gauge units are not recommended for vacuum applications.
