Microsemi's 12 Gbps SmartIOC product family offers the industry's
first high performance SAS/SATA IO controllers with support for
hardware RAID 0/1/10, RAID 5, and native HBA modes. The SmartIOC
family delivers the lowest total cost of ownership while enabling new
features and higher performance to the enterprise server and
hyperscale data center server market.
SmartIOC 2100
The new Microsemi 12 Gbps SmartIOC 2100 SAS IO controllers
provide reliable ultra high performance HBA functionality with
industry-leading low-power operation. The SmartIOC 2100 family
provides unparalleled flexibility along with a broad range of standard
features designed to meet the most demanding server storage
applications.
The PM8243/PM8239/PM8225 models includes support for
maxCrypto controller based encryption, currently the industry's only
data-at-rest controller-based encryption.
The Microsemi SmartIOC 2100 12 Gbps architecture is featured on
the SmartHBA 2100 Series Host Bus Adapters and the HBA 1100
Series Host Bus Adapters.

Microsemi's SPCve and SPCv controllers are part of the highly-
integrated 12G SAS and 12G SATA protocol controller family optimized
for fabricated RAID storage system applications and SAS/SATA HBA
applications. This controller family significantly increases total system
performance, diagnostics, scalability, and manageability.
The SPCve and SPCv controllers each provide an efficient and
scalable architecture that enables industry-leading system
performance. They provide application-programming environments that
are compatible with other members of the Tachyon SAS/SATA
controller family and Tachyon Fibre Channel controllers, enabling
software leverage between controllers and protocols.
