Improved power transmission
The SIT profile features six
power flanks. Due to their
unique arrangement and size,
greater power transmission is
ensured.
Long service life
Due to the tight manufactur-
ing tolerances and improved
torque transfer, the special
geometry of the SIT-drive
ensures less wear-and-tear. As
a result, the SIT-system makes
screw-driving more cost effi-
cient.
Easy fit
Both the tools and screws in
the SIT system feature a slight-
ly conical geometry. This
makes inserting the tool into
the screw's recess much easier,
and fastening cycle times are
greatly reduced.
Improved fit
SIT tools “wedge” into the
screw's recess to give an
improved fit. This stick-fit effect
dramatically reduces the
axial pressure, providing less
operator stress.
Reduced cam-out-forces
Due to the better torque trans-
fer and the improved fit into
the recess, reduced cam-out-
effect is the result. As a result,
the SIT-system helps to reduce
damaging slippage, and cost-
ly re-working.
Easy identification
The unique colour-coding sys-
tem makes it easy to find the
right tool. The correct bit for
the screw size being used is
easy to match up. This
reduces tool-change times to
a minimum.
