Teccor’s TK Series modules use
semiconductor technology for self-resetting
protection against overvoltage and
overcurrent (sneak current) transients caused
by lightning, electrostatic discharge, and AC
power faults. Until needed, TK Series
modules are transparent to the telephone
network, allowing efficient operation at
maximum speed and bandwidth, with no
signal degradation.
TK Series plug-in modules fit existing Krone
LSA-Plus™ frames and can be used in
applications at telephone exchanges, remote
locations, building entrances, and customer
premises. Breakdown voltages are available
from 75V to 350V and overcurrent (sneak
current) ratings from 150mA to 350mA. An
integrated, fast acting, unibalanced, fail-safe
mechanism ensures controlled operation for
added personnel safety and superior
equipment protection. Modules are
assembled by Teccor, using Teccor-
manufactured silicon devices, thereby
ensuring the most cost-effective solution.
