Grip the Keying Plug with Needle-nosed Pliers (Figure 2), the tapered end of the Keying Plug pointed toward the Connector. 2. Insert the Keying Plug into the Slot as far as it will go. Do not insert or remove Keying Plugs from Connectoxss that are loaded with Contacts, unless absolutely necessary.
