The Zoom DM3730 Torpedo Development Kit is a low-
power, high-performance application development kit for
evaluating the functionality of Texas Instruments’ DaVinci™
DM37x and Sitara™ AM37x processors and Logic PD’s
System on Module (SOM).
Application development is performed on the product-
ready SOMs using the software Board Support Packages
(BSPs) included with the kit, enabling you to seamlessly
transfer application code and hardware into production. The
development kit includes two SOMs: the DM3730 Torpedo SOM
and the DM3730 Torpedo + Wireless SOM. Both SOMs utilize
the superset DM3730 processor, allowing for easy evaluation of
either the DM3730 or AM3703 processor.
The ultra-compact DM3730 Torpedo SOM is an ideal off-the-
shelf solution for applications in markets where space is a
premium. The award-winning DM3730 Torpedo + Wireless SOM
integrates the WiLinkTM 7.0 wireless solution, providing access
to all wireless protocols required in today’s connected world:
802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS.
To assist with software development, Logic PD includes
Wattson™, a power measurement and performance monitoring
