CP1512
The CP 1512 is an Ethernet card, that is able to run in a PG/PC with a free PCMCIA type II slot with CardBus interface
(32 bit). With the Industrial Ethernet SOFTNET ®package (excluding UNIX environments), the CP1512 can be used
for example, for remote programming (PG communication) in a notebook.
Restrictions for Windows NT4.0 WS, Server:
In the case of Windows NT 4.0, Cardbus-32 modules, such as the CP 1512, are not supported by the system. To be able to operate the CP 1512
under Windows NT 4.0, you additionally require the CardWizard software from Systemsoft with version 5.2 and higher (http://www.systemsoft
.com). This is an independent software that must be installed before installation of the CP 1512. Operation of the CP 1512 under Windows NT 4.0
is only possible in devices supported by the CardWizard software.
It is not intended (and thus not released) to operate the CP 1512 in SIMATIC PGs and SIMATIC PCs under Windows NT 4.0, because the
integrated Ethernet port can be used in these products (where available, e.g. Field PG and Power PG).

CP1612
The CP 1612 is an Ethernet card, that is able to run in a PG/PC with a free 32Bit-PCI slot . It is able to run with the
SOFTNET ®packages for Industrial Ethernet.

CP1515
The CP 1515 is a type II PCMCIA-card. It can be used as a radio interface in RLM as well as a radio interface in mobile
components (e.g. within MOBIC T8). The CP1515 enables a charge-free communication according to IEEE 802.11b in
the 2,4 GHz ISM wave band with a maximum data rate of 11 Mbit/s .
Other Ethernet network interfaces Besides that, an operation using other Ethernet network interfaces is possible,
provided, that the accessory NDIS driver is version 3.1 or later.
However, a general function for all network interfaces can‘t be guaranteed
