OPLINK’s BFIH is a compact combination of a bandpass filter and a olarization
insersitive fiber isolator. The built-in bandpass filter blocks the amplifierd
spontaneous emission (ASE) in the erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA), thus
significantly improve the amplifier’s performance.
