FIELD INSTALLABLE SHIELDED MULTI-CON-X®
Conxall®introduces its newest series of “Con-X” product, the Field Installable Shielded
Multi-Con-X®. This product was designed for field installations where:
•Circuits must be protected from electromagnetic or radio frequency interference
•
Surrounding equipment must be protected from circuit emmittance
•An earth ground must be carried via the cable shield through the
connector shell, coupling ring, and receptacle to ground (panel).
The Field Installable Shielded Multi-Con-X®offers a simple, unique method of completing
the shield between the cable and the connector housing (requiring no additional or special
installation tools). The backshell can be assembled with nothing more than a screwdriver.
Features
•6 keyway orientations available
•2 - 9 pole insert configurations with 20 size contacts available in 4 keying arrangements
•2 - 12 pole insert configurations with 20 size contacts available in 1 keying arrangement
•2 - 4 pole insert configurations with 16 size contacts available in 1 keying arrangement
•Panel Mounts are available with male contacts only (solder or P.C. Tail termination)
•
Cable Ends are available with female contacts only (solder termination)
•Not mateable with standard (unshielded) Multi-Con-X®product
•Panel Mounts are available with a metal or plastic housing
